Regenerative Based Care For Your Health:
Pain is a fact of life we all must deal with at times, but whenever pain starts to affect the activities you enjoy most, your quality of life suffers.
Patients tell us all the time about how pain is keeping them from enjoying their hobbies or affecting their work or more simply impacting their ability to complete daily tasks around their home. Long-standing problems begin to affect energy, sleep, and other aspects of health. Whatever it is that pain is preventing you from doing, our goal is to help you get back to doing what you love most.
We offer evidence-based regenerative health care to our patients. Our personalized one on one approach is centered around what is most important to you so that you can get back to doing what you love.
NEW PATIENT OPTIONS: If you are new to our office please select one of the follow new patient appointments below:
1.) Chiropractic New Patient - This is for new patients seeking chiropractic care.

2.) SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY: Decompression therapy uses gentle and sustained axial distraction to unload the spine and is used most often to treat pain resulting from damaged or degenerating spinal discs located in the neck or lower back. Disc pain is often referred into the upper or lower limbs depending on the location of the disc injury.
Sessions provide an effective and non-invasive way to address more significant neck and back and back pain as well as offers patients a lower force alternative to chiropractic adjustments (spinal manipulation)

3.) Spinal Trigger Point Initial Evaluation and Diagnostic Treatment Session - This specialized session includes a full evaluation and diagnostic treatment session utilizing the Piezowave 2 Focused Shockwave device. The device is used to pinpoint spinal trigger points that contribute or cause pain in the neck, upper back, shoulders, mid back, and lower back.

REGENERATIVE MODALITIES: HOW WE HELP YOU
1.) CERVICAL OR LUMBAR SPINAL DECOMPRESSION
A patient on the KDT Spinal Decompression Table receiving treatment
Decompression therapy is a method of gently distracting the spine (either the neck or lower back) using controlled traction to unload the spine. It is primarily used to address disc injuries such as bulges, herniation, and degenerative discs. Patients are assessed at the initial visit to determine if they are suitable candidates for the care.
If a patient is a candidate for this care, they are placed onto the table in a comfortable position, and the decompression session is initiated. Patients can expect to be on the decompression table for 10-15 minutes during a visit followed by a Class IV laser session to promote healing.
Additionally, more time may be set aside following a decompression session so that focused shockwave, HEIT, and rehab exercises can be used to treat the soft tissue structures around the injured disc. Nutritional and lifestyle advice are provided throughout the course of care for optimum results.
The length of time it takes to recover varies, but on average pain-relief is felt within a few sessions with more stable results experienced with continued sessions over a 6-8 week time frame. The exact number of sessions is dependent upon the nature of the disc injury, the age of the patient, how closely patients follow our doctor’s recommendations, as well as the overall health of the individual.
HOW DECOMPRESSION WORKS:
Decompression works due to the “hydrostatic property” of the injured disc. This refers to how efficiently the injured disc can move water, nutrients, and oxygen into the centralized portion of the disc while at the same time move out metabolic waste products as the disc heals.
This fluid exchange within the central part and the outer part of the disc is what leads to the “decompression” effect of the disc and ultimately stimulates repair and healing. The goal for this protocol is to achieve a stronger, healthier, pain free spine.

2.) CLASS IV MEDICAL LASER
K-Laser with protective eyewear in the cases
Class IV Medical Laser, also known as High Intensity Laser Therapy, targets damaged tissue with specific wavelengths of light that have been found to interact with tissue and accelerate the healing process. This FDA cleared therapeutic treatment manages pain and inflammation while accelerating tissue healing and regeneration. Laser energy increases circulation drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area, creating an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasm, stiffness, and pain. Class IV Laser can be used for a variety of both acute and chronic conditions.
In our office, laser is most often used as a synergistic modality with our disc decompression patients.
3.) FOCUSED SHOCKWAVE
Focused Shockwave treatment to the Lumbar Spine (lower back)
This advanced technology generates complex, precise, non-invasive high intensity mechanical pulses at targeted depths that are absorbed into the tissues and through complex molecular and cellular level signaling reduces pain, decreases inflammation, increases blood flow, and stimulates and accelerates the healing process. After treatment, damaged tissues regenerate and heal over time. This non-invasive outpatient procedure represents a breakthrough in regenerative treatment options for a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. Shockwave treatment is one of the best options for tendon, ligament, joint, and bursal diseases that cause pain, inflammation, and dysfunction.
4.) HIGH ENERGY INDUCTION THERAPY (HEIT)
Touch screen interface of the HEIT device
The emField is a non-invasive therapeutic device. The device produces a magnetic field that interacts with the tissues of the human body. Healthy human cells provide a highly efficient medium for conducting electromagnetic energy. Every cell and its membrane have an electrical charge, but when cells are damaged or become unhealthy, they lose much of their conductivity and their capacity for optimal function. Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are known to increase cellular energy and optimize cellular function. High Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT) uses EMFs to activate the electrical chemistry of cells, to improve the function of damaged musculoskeletal tissues.
5.) CHIROPRACTIC CARE
Chiropractic adjusting table
Chiropractic care called spinal adjustments are beneficial for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. An adjustment is a manual technique that is applied to the spine to correct motion segments that exhibit improper motion. Often, there is muscle tension and myofascial dysfunction referred to as trigger points which may be also contributing to spinal pain. In many instances, patients report relief from pain, stiffness, and tension following an adjustment.
Chiropractic in many cases is a vital part of our patient care. During your visit, one of our doctors will determine what area of your spine may require an adjustment. Chiropractic is typically used in conjunction with one or more of our regenerative therapies to initiate a healing response and provide the best outcomes to our patients.
